What's Happening at Gabby's Starlit HOPE?

It’s so special how Gabby’s school Sacred Heart Girls' College - New Plymouth continue to support Gabby’s legacy and remember her. 💖🦋 The girls had a Barbier feast day recently and as part of it they made beautiful flower pots for us to gift to the Children’s wars to brighten up the patient’s room- Starlit ❤

Tiaan is a happy 4 year old who has been having severe apnoeas since birth resulting in him being found blue and unresponsive and requiring CPR. These events have resulted in numerous hospital admissions to Taranaki base hospital and high anxiety life for his mum. It has been recommended that Tiaan have an Apple Watch to be able to alert for assistance and capture his cardiac rhythms at the time of these events to help in the investigation of the cause of these apnoeas.

Just wanted to say a MASSIVE thank you to everyone that donated and offered accommodation and activities for Lenny's South Island trip. The response to the Facebook post was just incredible and I really can't thank you all enough. We received donations totaling $17,247.47 and every penny was gifted to Lenny's family. !!!!!!!!!!! This amazing outpouring of support means that they can create even more special memories with Lenny.

Kim donates all the proceeds from the sales of her gorgeous sock monkeys so that we can donate these amazing Play Parcel Craft Boxes to Starship Child Cancer Ward. Gabby’s legacy created huge smiles for an amazing Superhero Tu, who was stuck in Starship Child Cancer Ward for his birthday. We surprised him with a life size balloon man and bunch of helium balloons in his fav colour and with an array of presents including a ride on motorbike (Motorbikes are his fav).
